So today we got up and headed towards Carlsbad NM which is right across the border of Western Texas. It was about a 500 mile drive through Texas and I have to say once we left San Antonio there was nothing for 500 miles. I am amazed at how much emptiness there is in Western Texas. About all we saw all day was Oil Drills and Pumps. Luckily every 60 or 70 miles they actually had a gas station. Well we drove forever and arrived in Carlsbad at around 7pm. Watch a movie and went to bed because that is all there is to do in Carlsbad. Tomorrow will be a day of Cave exploring!!
