Day 44 : Caves and Aliens

So this morning we got up and headed out to Carlsbad Caverns.  We took the Natural Entrance and the Big Room self guided tours.  We spent about 3 hours in the caves and I have to say it was quite spectacular.  These caves had far more formations than what we saw in Mammoth Caves which were an extremely dry cave.  Unfortunately we did not get to see the Bats exit or return (Sunset and Sunrise) but we still really enjoyed these caves.  It is sad they are truly out in the middle of nowhere and more people do not get to enjoy their beauty.  After our cave exploring we had lunch at the Cave restaurant and then headed out to Roswell NM for a visit to the International UFO Museum and Research Center.  Roswell was about a hour away from the caves.  We got to Roswell around 3:30 and looked around the museum for a little over an hour.  It was quite interesting and I still not sure what I believe.  There are a lot of people that claim to have seen an actual Spacecraft crash with Alien bodies.  It was enjoyable but then we had to move on to our next stopping area which was Albuquerque NM for the night.  Tomorrow we will be heading up to Mesa Verde NP in CO for a visit to the Cave Dwelling area.  Enjoy all the Cave Pictures and a few aliens (no not my family)
